NOTW: Christmas Nails

Hello  everyone!
Just wanna show you what I did to my nails for Christmas. I painted it with  Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro in Stiletto Red  but I also want have a touch of snow flakes and sparkles on it so I added this white nail sticker ( I know, they're flower nail stickers...umm..I wasn't able to find a snow flakes design) and an NYC long wearing nail enamel in Starry Silver Glitter.
What do you think guys? ^_^

NOTW: Amethyst Nails

This fall, thick materials and elegant patterns play directly off of the hottest hues for fall. With falling temperatures come rising hue saturation, in luscious shades of emerald, amethyst, and garnet

(***Warm Earth tones are also hot for the fall. These are the soft, the comfortable shades of beige that hug the nails. It is these fade nudes that compliments instead of overpower. )

This fall, nails take a trip to the dark side. Rich, lush, and delightful inky, these are the shades to adorn digits with when the leaves starts to fall.

DIY: Lace Earrings

Ola! everyone.
So today I decided to do a DIY lace earrings. It's super inexpensive and still glamorous.
Here are the materials you'll need:

Gyaru makeup ♥_♥

So here's my first attempt of Gyaru (means = gals ) makeup. Gyaru girls are fashion-conscious and are always up-to-date on their appearance, including hairstyle, clothing, accessories, nails, and makeup.  They always dress and redress to impress.

Getting Started:

Gyaru girls have a few features in common.  To adopt the gyaru look, you’ll need:

1)    Porcelain skin, meaning a smooth, even complexion.  Use makeup if you must (most gyaru girls do, anyway).
2)    Eye makeup: A major feature of a gyaru girl is her large, doll-like eyes.  You want to emphasise your eyes.  Girls on a budget, you can start off with eyeliner and a pair of false eyelashes.
3)    Dolly circle lenses enlarge your iris, and, as a result, make your eyes look bigger.
4)    Nice nails:  If they’re painted, they shouldn’t be chipped.  If they’re plain, keep them clean.
5)    Bling: On your cell phone, in your hair, on your nails, bling is your friend.
6)    A closet of anything that looks good on you.  Vintage can be “in.”  If you look good, you’ll feel good.  Gyaru girls do spend a lot of time on their appearance, but ultimately, they’re confident.
7)    Inspiration: Take a look at fashion magazines and come up with a personal style. You can find loads of gyaru magazine scans.  Find your own style with some help.
8)    A soft spot for cuteness.  Some gyaru girls keep cute plush toys, cute dresses, cute cell phone straps, everything cute!

Look At These Nails!

Yesterday, I went shopping at RiteAid and as I roamed at the beauty product section I saw these nail polish. It took me almost quarter an hour to decide which color I'll choose  because there are so many pretty colors to choose from (heheh) and they're on sale for just $0.99 (Wet n Wild Shine nail) & 1.99 (Petites)

These are the colors that I bought:

Turquoise Winged liner

I just got bored with black eyeliner so I created this cat eye look with turquoise instead of black. Isn't it cool? The look is playful but not overdone. The color is gorgeous and vibrant so I think it's perfect for summer. When the heat is on, there's no better time to experiment and have fun

Beach wraps

Next on my list to buy is a huge square scarf ^_*...since I've been lounging at the beach more frequently since summer started. This tutorial by Chriselle will show you how to create different beach wraps with a square scarf. It's cool, isn't it?

Cat Woman

I just keep on seeing this black cat (don't know if it's stray or not) roaming around our house almost everyday. Maybe because we have lots of baby bunny (a wild one) hanging at the backyards eating the grasses. There is on time that I saw him chasing  them. This black cat reminds me of  the  supervillain and love interest of Batman. It just make me think of this idea on making this makeup look. Yeah I now it's not yet Halloween and I'm not attending any costume party right now, but why not?

Review: Wet n Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner

Hello everyone!
I just like to share these cool liquid eyeliners I just bought in the drugstore (Rite Aid).
It's Wet n Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner in plum, blue and turquoise. Actually I was just looking for a concealer but I wasn't able to find the brand I was looking for and then my eyes was caught by these colorful stuff and it's just $ 2.99. So I decided to try these eyeliners (why not?)
and here's some picture I took...

Introduction

Hello! This is me, Sheila.
I created this blog to document and share my fascination with makeup artistry. I am not a Professional or an expert, nor a makeup artist. I am still learning new things everydayChanging the way you look is fun, makeup comes off and you can be someone new every time. Yeah~ Nobody's perfect, we should be confident on what we have but sometimes we need an extra  oomph of this and that.
And, since I also love paintings, sketching/drawings and designing clothes then I might also include them. So far this is my first entry. I'll hope you'll continue to follow my blog.
Add it to your RSS feed, bookmarks, etc.
I hope you enjoy reading.
